  Discovery Preschool in West Sacramento is one of the most trusted and nurturing places a parent can hope to secure a spot in for their preschool child. Mrs. Hansen has served as Lead Teacher and now Site Supervisor there for over 12 years, literally hundreds of children have had the privilege of learning through hands on play, language, literacy and numeracy activities. Through the sensitive caregiving that Mrs. Hansen and now her aide Mrs. Jensen so generously give, the kids learn social and emotional skills that uniquely prepare them for kindergarten. There is always a waiting list, so call early!

  This place is BAD... I had to pull my daughter for a number of reasons.. Kids beating up each other and the teachers not doing anything about it..My daughter crying from being hit by another student and the teachers NEVER called or even talk to me about it had to find out from my daughter on the way home one day. Im the kind of parent that wants to be updated weekly maybe even daily about how my child is doing in school but nope these people just want you to pick up your kid and leave. I never had one conversation with any of the teachers about my child and how she was doing unless i brought it up first. After 2 months of my daughter going here i had enough and pulled her out of this dump... I wouldn't recommend this preschool to anybody save your money and enroll them in a school that actually cares about your children's education.
